Connecting Europe Express: The EU special train is travelling across Europe
Hop on the Connecting Europe Express and enjoy a full European train experience. The Connecting Europe Express travels across Europe on the initiative of the EU to promote the use of sustainable transport. Whether at home or at the station, have a seat and take part in the activities taking place during the length of the journey.
The entire route in Germany
On Sunday (26.9.) the EU special train "Connecting Europe Express" (CEE) will reach its first stop in Germany at Schwandorf main station. The ambassador for the "European Year of Rail 2021", which started in Lisbon on 2nd September, will call at another twelve German cities until 3rd October. From Schwandorf it will roll to Regensburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Ulm, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt am Main, Leipzig, Halle (Saale), Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen and Bad Bentheim.
On its tour across the continent, the CEE will connect around 100 cities before arriving in Paris on 7 October. More information on the start can be found here.
